As part of a series of celebrations to mark the 40th anniversary of the UAE, Ajman Bank has organised a painting competition for the children of its customers and employees. The competition has been organised in recognition of the spirit of national unity with the objective of bringing together the community to celebrate the culture and heritage of the country.

For the competition, the bank has asked children aged 6-14 to create an A5-sized greeting card expressing their feelings for the UAE. The best five entries will receive cash prizes, with the winner also having their artwork displayed on the Ajman Bank website for one month. The winner will be announced during a ceremony on National Day at the bank’s flagship Khalifa branch.

Mubashar H. Khokhar, Chief Executive Officer of Ajman Bank, said: “On the 40th anniversary of the founding of the United Arab Emirates, all of us at Ajman Bank join in the spirit of unity that has long defined this great nation. We congratulate the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and all the Rulers and Ministers and members of the UAE Government on this glorious occasion. Ajman Bank looks forward to making a continued contribution to our nation’s growth story by supporting individuals and businesses across the seven emirates.”

The children’s painting competition is the highlight of series of celebrations organised by the bank. To reflect the traditions of the UAE, all Ajman Bank branches have been decorated in national colours, with traditional food dishes provided to staff and customers. The bank is also supporting the Ajman Culture and Media Department with its National Day celebrations. A delegation of the bank’s senior management, including Mohamed Amiri, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Ajman Bank; Salem Al Shamsi, VP-Government Business Relationship; Marwan Al Zarooni, VP-Head of Branches; Abdulla Al Noaimi, Head of Affluent Banking; and Abdul Aziz Al Ali, Relationship Manager, will take part in the parade from Ajman Corniche to the Ruler’s Palace.
